The Broughton War Memorial Institute was originally established as a memorial to the village's fallen in the First World War in lieu of a cenotaph.  It was utilised for the local school, had cricket slips, tennis courts and a playground with swings etc, then a snooker room was added- which has now been converted into an exciting dance studio. 

The institute hosts a wide range of activities geared to all ages from newborns to the more senior members of the community- we even hold events for our furry friends!  
We are currently refurbishing the institute to better serve the users and hirers in the village and our current fundraising events are helping us to improve our facilities for the community.
So pop along! New faces are always welcome both to use our facilities or to help us raise funds.
